Aristotles way of Screen Writing
Aristotle a renowned greek screen writer in BC, has categorized and prioritized the way of film making. Though the times have changed, the way the screen writing is written still shines its way to success. Though telugu movies tend to move more into star kingdom, recent pictures that clicked at box office proved that aristotle's priority works in every generation.
Now, the basic question in thinking of a film is, what is the key for a film to be successful?? Many of them now call it script.. but aristotle defined it differently... reason, there can be a drama that can be done on extempore without any script and that can become a huge hit. So here is what Aristotle had to say about the priorities for beginning to write a script.
Priority 1
Decide on what is the plot? is the plot good enough to carry the film. No story is new under the sun, but the way it is told with fresh ideas and twists will make the story appealing.... ask yourself and a reliable person around on the feedback of the plot. If it has anything new to be told, then go ahead or just dont waste time in making the plot interesting.
Priority 2
The characters should be well drawn that are real and authentic. Write likes and dislikes of each character, and how the character is going to change/develop in due course of action.
Priority 3
What is the new/unique or compelling point that is driving the story, is there something hidden for the audience to get enthralled. Write the point that makes you different. Defend your point at every discussion
Priority 4
Short and Crisp dialogues for a good story form the backbone. Believe that in filmmaking actions speak louder that dialogues, so make sure you dont write every dialogue and prepare few scenes that depict what has to be told. Discuss with the director about his way of filmmaking and agree for few scenes with both the ideas blended together.
Priority 5 : Song Lyrics/Music/Background Score
Priority 6: Art Direction and Post Production
Priority 7: Sound Effects and special effects

how to write author backed roles?
- What is the qualification of the hero/cast?
- Who is the intendend audience for the film?
- What are the assumptions that as an author we can take for the hero/cast?
- What are his living habits and the places that he is comfortable staying in?
- What is the type of story that hero/cast is looking into? If there is nothing in particular suggesting few roles would be an added advantage.
- What are the parallel comparisons that can be drawn, for that story/script?
- finally a conculsion from the author is important, that says what is the role that he is looking for that particular character/cast/hero, along with his acceptance for that particular role.

Creativity gets a beating
sometimes, so many things start occuring to mind when we sit to write a story or script, its nothing new i guess for many script writers who already walked and smelt the roses. Sometimes its good to have many ideas, but film or media should be a focussed segment. So the advice that i got from some of the writers was not to experiment too many ideas in a single story, if the subject you are writing is related to some social problem, just focus on a single social problem, rather than telling all the social problems available on the earth.
Probably at the time of writing you might feel that what do we write or say for 3 hours on a single problem, but thats what is story or screen writing is all about. The focussed strategy as it works in any other field is applicable to the entertainment industry as well.
The best topic to chose to start with should be a topic which you are passionate about. Do not try subjects where you have not experienced or seen any characters around you with that capability. Example: A person staying in US should not start writing about the farming in india, he should actually get to the ground in order to understand the real scenes that happen in the farmers house and their vicinity.
Though this is a very basic thing, once we start thinking on these lines creativity takes a serious beating, and process of getting the ideas get streamlined and in due course will help you in coming out with more number of stories and scripts.

My interaction with Anish
I caught up with Anish, who directed Avakai Biryani in the Coffee day at Banjara hills.
I was late by 20 mins... i was little disappointed due to my late entry. Neverthless we started on a subject that was little bit of a thriller and romantic comedy... There was such a high level of disturbance in the shop.. i had to shout .. the narration was in bits and pieces though there was a script written, i was hardly able to explain anything to him. Story was not so appealing to him, his comments was its not so captivating...
Then I have started on different subject which is a mixture of Sivaji and Guru, as i usually tell it, but the treatment is different.
Initial comment when hearing about the story line was the story line is very noble.
When i started narrating it was so disastrous that anish commented saying he tried showing some social elements in Avakai biryani and it did not worked. His next comment was Who will come to the theatre and like to listen to the lecture. Yes no body will come to the theatre to listen to a lecture, probably i was narrating it like a lecture i dont know. But my feel was, only those scenes like the panchayat scene in Avakai biryani clicked in the movie rather than head aching love story... where chemistry never worked. I thought of telling the same, but because of his seniority i just remained silent. There is this pre-defined notion i was able to see in him that complex stories are not understood by the audience. Stories should be simple like godavari and anand.
He only had the time to listen to the narration in parts in a busy environment.
When a story writer gives a complex subject with 3 stages defined to a director along with the scene sequence, it basically depends on the directors calibre and editors skill sets to visualize it in an interesting way. This was a contradiction at the end of the discussion where i was told it is not visually appealing. I was not in a position to visualize anything there apart from some coffee and sandwitches in the half an hour time given to me.
Here are my learnings after the interaction which might be useful for other script writers starting their journey
- Before starting the script narration find out how much time can the listener spare - if it is less than 30 mins dont talk anything about the script.
- Ask what type of subject is he ready to listen, love story, action drama or what ever it is ask the listener about his interests.
- Story narration can be ok in busy hang outs but script narration should be only in a calm location with atleast an hour and half to spare
- Know more about the experiences of the directors and after every scene take the inputs from the listener, so that you are sure that he understands the things and you are on the same frequency.

Indian Vs Australian
Why all of a sudden there is a backlash on the indian youth, all across the globe. Is it something that was hidden in the hearts that is coming to the light during the recession. I thought of writing down the dialogue version if Australian and Indian sit in a debate
Australian: why do I have to sacrifice my job to an indian, when my country is having unemployment, why cant you go back to your country and search for jobs.
Indian: I paid the fee, I came to learn with authorized visa regulations, because i invested my time and money here, i am eligible to apply for the job under your government regulations.
Australian: We also paid the fee, because you work for less money, you are getting the job
Indian: we are working for our existence and your government approved it
Australian: Why dont you go back to India and search for a job?
Indian: I am in a free world i can live and breathe anywhere i want..
dragging this is waste of time, i thought can these 2 people solve this debate...? no, its the government of both the countries that should debate on these topics. India is not a consumer, so we are not able to increase the domestic market. We dont have infrastructure as we have in Australia, US or UK.
So, when indian government creates ample job oppurtunities and infrastructure support for youth in India, then abviously no body want to stay away from the mother land and would like to sit in a debate like this.

debating on topics to choose...!
Here is one of the comment that i got for the topic writers on 9th planet..!
hello pradeep im rohit from warangal studying b.tech 3rd year in KITS. whats wrong in taking real incidents as stories? even Ram gopal varma does the same thing...!preparing "rakta charitra"we never know it may help to prevent such incidents may not repeat...it happens with many guys for some moment in that moment only every thing happens..! nobody knows what excactly happend with boy...? but he'l become villian....! every body have their own view..! how can u criticize others if ur not yet succeeded as writer..? jealous? u can not write about others in ur blog publicly..! i realy liked that subject..which mentioned in ur blog..though is is not complete..!
rohit jain
warangal.
Hi Rohit, thanks for taking time in writing back to me, if you read the post again, i wrote that movies had to be made on the real life incidents and i am also not against fantasy or thriller movies... the thing i wrote is there is lot more to the story which is called as treatment, script is a treatment, you cannot call the theme or a story where you write there is a happy man, you also have to say why he is happy and write the emotions of why you think he is happy, a person can be happy for n number of reasons, in your home work you need to prepare for the answers, you should not come and say a happy person fell in love.So never mind budding writers are always on the brighter side of the life.. keep writing and keep reading... we never know when you will get a chance. as far as i am concerned you are true that i did not got a chance, but at the same time i talk to myself saying that i am not writing for chances, i am writing it for myself and not for anybody else.

16th all Congress Day
The long wait finally ended in all favouring Congress, Though no body expected it to be such a thumping majority.. it was all done by the voters...The votes against congress are divided by BJP, TDP, PRP, TRS, Lok Satta and CPI(M)
Now small parties understand that, its not the parties that have to be formed, but they have to gain confidence in the public. Dont cry on the split over milk, we are now to face the same government for the next 5 years.
We hope atleast the new congress leaders who are elected, do not end up selling the lands, but focus on completing the pending projects.
I am little happy that Jayaprakash Narayan, Chiru and Jaya sudha won the elections. We need some softspoken people to bring some prestige to the politicians. We now have to see what will be the change that the boasted leaders like Chiru and JP would get to the state. Even though they do not have power, we should assume that they speak out their mind in the assembly so that we have some body talking about the public.
Jai hoo Congress...! all the very best for your next term of ruling.

Writers on 9th planet
Hi,
I was coming across few of the writers on the 9th planet. I agree that writers have to think differently and confidently. but writing a story with all questions and going for registration by investing 8000 rupees.. oops.. i m afraid... i thought it was ok for a moment... but writing like "A happy man think what he can do to get his love.. he runs behind the lover... he is sincere in his love.. he is passionate.. he proposes the girl she rejects.. think why she rejects.. why a boy is forced to throw acid.. etc etc., "
taking a subject like this calling it as a theme and running pillar post to make a film.. registering it .. and finding it as a greatest script... of course for the writer it is supposed to be... but being a writer and staying on the 9th planet with the real time story... no i forgot its theme... is confusing and at the same time... apologetic...
All the best for the upcoming writers, let us be realistic and not try to push the cinema into some of the enigmatic areas. If we select a subject of fantasy it is fine.. making real life story into what is called pieces of clothes and getting everything to stitch.. is a writers job.. and well accepted... but you cannot call yourself a writer by bringing all the cut pieces with questions and calling it as a story or theme....
i better mind my business rather than poaching into others... well' probably i was just... out of my mind for some time i guess....

Why PRP will lose AP Elections?
Though the PRP leaders are confident about winning, they are not in a position to win. We can say that they have lost a golden chance of winning due to the political corruption. Though today is the last date of Electronic media campaigning, i am writing down my analysis on AP politics.
PRP had
Great moral values of not cursing any body personally
Great ideology of social justice
People with educational background
Policies that are quite useful
but having said all these, these are like titles for the movie
- when the shooting of the PRP party started, the cast was not finalized, When PRP took so much time to announce its party, it would have fielded their candidates even before the party was set up. If there were no able persons it would have waited for the people to build their cadre first.
- When people are coming and joining PRP, they would have filtered the candidates, floating all the aspirants and giving tickets to few for a start up party is quite a debacle.
- Road shows and other shows, should have been started after the members were fixed, before that the ground work should have happenned, so that both leadership qualities and strength of the candidates would have known.
- The bio-data of people for whom tickets were given, should have been posted on the electronic media like websites, though there is prajarajyam.org, whoever is maintaining is absolute waste.
- Watchful eyes are all closed, though the topic of coverts was introduced, nothing had actually started to roll unless parakala case came into action.. now its too late...
- all types of political corruption has pushed PRP so hard, that congress had taken a vast advantage of the issue. though these cannot be controlled, but belief is something that is quite contrasting to films and politics. Film personalities due to their habit, easily believe in people where as politician though he is true doesnt even believe his shadow.
- The game of chess, is ultimately going to turn towards a congress due to the back stabbing and infiltration of cadre.
Having said all these i am going to cast my vote to PRP, because i liked the titles and the script of PRP. If actors spoiled the script, as a script writer we have to appalaud the producer and hero for taking the script on their shoulders.
My Analysis
Congress: 138
TDP: 58
PRP : 68
Rest all independents
Let me see how correctly i have analyzed... its just a number that i have given neither is this from any survey....

Is US protectionism a boon or bane?
Reduction of Visas, pink slips for H1B holders, not entertaining the h1b extensions, asking for a resignation, sending back from port of entry everything happenning in order to protect the US citizens and to gain more foot hold on the unemployment is a boon for America.
when we go further, it aims at quality, can the american work force produce the quality that is being delivered by the skilled professionals from India. Though the answer is mundane, we still have to live by the country norms. Unemployment in India would rise due to the unemployment in America, which is a bane to Indian citizens. Because india is not into the service consumer, we have to sell all our products offshore to get the money. Indian government itself is against transparency, so IT people have to wait for US government to get better, which is duly expected to be normal by Aug-Dec 09. So this is an oppurtunity missed by India. Leaders do not have vision, because they board the stage only at the time of elections. Media people make mockery or criticize one party only at the time of elections.
so US protectionism is boon for American Citizens, bane for Indian Citizens, Oppurtunity missed for Indian Government, Hot topic for media discussions, boon for IT offshoring companies like ours.

E.S Murthy Garu on Premisthey
After i have taken my first book out... E.S Murthy garu a renowned music composer in Southern Music Industry, gave his first thoughts on how the book is, here are his thoughts as i understood. his first question after reading the book was...
Is it your personal story?
My Answer : No its not a personal story, its just a thought from the eyes of one of the student.. It is based on the true story that i have seen but its not mine...
Did you fell in love?
No.. sir..
It is like reading a personal diary rather than like a book.. there are few places where one line is not meeting with the other, its not on all lyrics, but for few of them i felt so... some lines are more like prose rather than poetry.. "chandassu" is not there... The book is all about pessimissm, why did you write it so pessimistically..
My Answer: Sir, it is just the subject i have choosen to write, so based on that character.. its a sympathetic one.. i am not pessimistic but the book creates sympathy on 1 character....
Why did you choose such a topic to write... there are so many burning issues in the world... We may find girls moving from one man to another, but taking that and publishing a book is not good in my opinion....
My reply: yes, shall be writing on other topics as well...
You have to learn writing in Telugu, you are not supposed to write telugu in english
Yes sir, currently i am learning to write...
Read more books about poistive energy, spread the positive energy around.. I am personally against the thought of everything is dark.. everything is gloomy... there is nothing in life... There are so many things in life, which are worth praising.. see the works of sirivennela garu.. you get so much inspiration listening to his lyrics...it is good that you have started writing... but be careful that you dont start on the laughing note..
he got up from the chair and got me a book that has tremendous lyrical value.. I loved the "tapala bantrothu" and "Cosmopolitan" from the verses he narrated... it was worth a double hand praise.. the mood was completely different... so its on the other side of the shore... he continued then..
I am not discouraging you, you have started to write which is good.. so write something that is useful to the nation.. writing something just as a fun and printing books does not give value.. though you write 2 lines.. they should be inspirational. Check the writings of the old days.. what books did you read ...
My reply : I have read "yenki patalu", "gurajada rachanalu", "matti kannu", "kavitha sankalanam from 1991-98"
you should also try reading "amrutham kurisina rathri", "tilak kathalu"
More the books you read, you will get to know more about the beauty of the telugu literature..
you have to learn writing telugu first.. read vemana sathakam .. write it down on a paper.. it will give you more grip on telugu writing.. and you will also learn vemana sathakam.. your young generation should be jubliant, have to write something that is energetic.. and creates positive vibes.. dont be sad ..
He had to meet some one more important.. he corrected few lines, and gave few suggestions of what lines are not so expressive.. and then had to say a bye bye to him.. Though the conversation went on for 90 minutes.. I was on a learning curve.. improvements are only seen with constructive criticism and progressive learning and adapting..
Thank you sir, for spending your valuable 90 minutes with me and applauding few of my thoughts and correcting me at times... Look forward with your association on my journey into telugu literature..

If i were Ramalinga raju..!
Everybody is either cursing ramalinga raju or keeping a subtle note.. Satyamites are also in a confused state, what to talk about the issue. So if ramalinga raju built this whole empire what would be his reactions on seeing all this. this was one of my imagination of writing what ramalinga raju might feel about this. If i were ramalinga raju, then here are the points
I ramalinga raju as an individual started a company called satyam in a local colony, by breaking the law and establishing a company inside a local residential area. Nobody raised an objection, we started as a small team and increased our head strength to 20. We were using the same place, no body ever complained about using the place. When we started to grow and when surrounding people saw money floating into the company, many people were at back of us, trying to find out what we were doing in those tiny boxes and from where we were getting money.
Software exports, which is a new term in the corporate book at that time, we stood by the term and gave india the face to showcase its software and IT industry.
No matter how fast we grew, do the citizens of india dont know that for every work we want to get done in INDIA, we have to give money. Yes, i gave the money as every other enterprenuer did. Where did that money come from, how was i able to give money to those people. Does SEBI or any serious fraud agency doesnt want to know about it. Why is the new board appointed by the government? Why were the rest of the corporate companies interested in taking my clients, without taking my employees? Why government agencies are checking all the accounts, before giving it to SEBI and CBI, am i the only person who did the fraud?
I being a corporate citizen accepted the fault because the burden of giving money for unwanted things is taking a turmoil. Beacuse of the the brand of Satyam, maytas was given the projects. As a Satyam CEO, i have thrown money into so many infrastructure projects which is against law, because the money went into the hands of politicians, now they are all getting united to bring me down.
How many politicians are corrupt free, how can they earn crores in 4 years, are the serious fraud agencies say that their rules are only meant for corporate frauds? where is the governing body for the loans that are not recovered from many individuals?
Any small cloth shop also have branches, when it grows, why is it being projected as a crime to support 200 other companies. They are my children companies, i can give what ever i want to them.
when 1 company dies for giving birth to 200 other companies, and elightens the fraud that is piled up into the system. why should i say i have done a mistake. I am brave and courageous so i brought the corruption that is there in the whole system into the lime light.
Someday, the tarnished image is expected to be seen by the people, if i myself call it as drop, and come on the forefront. I thought atleast law of the governing body is in its good shape. But rather which even now, they are at the back of the left over money. I am a good business man, because i exploited the vacant space present in the corporate infrastructure.
When i have done everything as per law, then my lawyers strongly believe that i have done no wrong. And when there is a flaw in the legal system, the money that was created will never be recovered. because though the amount is shown, it never reaches the desk. from where do you think the parties are getting their election fund?
Now, if this is something we can think that Raju would have to say, if he ever comes before a media again in a bold manner rather than coming as a person who did a mistake. Nice script in making....!

where will satyam End?
Black day in corporate world - Jan 7th 2009
Satyam with a strength of 53000 employees is in its one of the worst days effecting the stock markets at mumbai and new york.. it all happenned from the small stop gap arrangement in the excel spreadsheets and account books ... how will it recover and where will it end is a big question.. B-schools have got a new topic to read and research..the family owned business after the split of reliance.. so where will it end up finally.. reliance had money.. but satyam is showing fraud..and bankruptcy..
These are strictly my personal views and nothing legal or from any book.
On my view, the over valuation was only done for Maytas which was rectified with the resource cut, but never there was anything on satyam share books. International auditors cannot miss the validity and clear the account books. So my opinion is money would have floated into the maytas business with out the consent of stakeholders, thinking it also as a part of family run business in the recent years. In order to cover up the money that was sent to maytas and to legalize the funds that were diverted into maytas by satyam there was a high drama of satyam buying out maytas, which probably Mr.Raju never thought can backlash because of his 8 percent holding. when promoters and board directors backed off and did not permit the merging. the deficit had to be covered for the legal and accounting purposes. Suddenly when board and auditors started to scrutinize the account books, there was no other way out rather than accept that balance sheets were wrong.
In order to cover up the balance, the loss was projected from 2001 so that people get engaged in reviewing the records from 2001. Once the share values come down, and other corporates back off for purchasing satyam. Maytas will be the only lamp post, guiding satyam. So we can expect an other high drama of Maytas taking over satyam.
So if A cannot become B, there is a scope of B becoming A, my guess is Maytas in acceptance with the government will end up taking satyam if everything goes as planned.
The fresh journey of maytas from infra would start into the IT world.
I will wait and see whether my corporate script would work the way i thought.

Script Writing Problem from a start up
Complete information of the email is not posted, but thanks for taking time in writing back. I am just placing the part of the email that i recieved
I googled for information on script writing for Telugu movies and discovered your blog. Thanks to your posts, I now understand the process a bit. I need some advice from you on a situation.
Problem: I am not sure how the movie industry works.Heard many stories about new writers not being given the credit for the story and dialogues.I don't mind not getting any remuneration for my first effort (as my IT job pays me decently), but surely I will need the credit so that I can get established later on.
So far, I have not discussed this issue with the director.I was not aware of the registration process till yesterday.Though I did mention a few times to the director that more than compensation, I want the credit and a stake in the remake/dubbing rights of the movie. He mentioned that "as we are not getting into agreement with producer and not asking for upfront remuneration, if the film is a hit, the producer will be generous enough to give us money as well as good % of rights."
Question: I am not sure if I can go ahead based on a verbal assurance. At the same time, I don't want to jeopardise the chances of this script becoming a movie soon.
How do you think I should address this issue? Should I go ahead and tell this director that I will have to register the script and then enter into an agreement with the producer and director (tr-partite agreement)? Or should I simply ask for upfront remuneration for the dialogue script, and not bother about a stake in the remake rights?
Finally, is it mandatory that if a script is to be made into a film, it must be registered with the script writers association?
I know this is a long first mail and I am asking lot of questions, but will appreciate any inputs you have.
My Reply, these are only my views any conflict with others views might be possible
Thanks for taking time and writing back to me, firstly
it is not mandatory to register a script for making a movie
secondly, it is always good practise to register a script, usually because script and direction are taken by director himself.
points of discussion can be
At the end of script narration there might be instances saying, the idea and story was mine, so you have only added your thoughts to it, which is usually the practise employed. If director is good, he might as well pay you for the scenes that he picked up from your ideas. If the director is not bothered he can give you the story and screenplay.
So discuss what is the role that you are currently into, dont ask what is the amount u get or dont demand that you want name. there are so many members in the industry struggling to get name. Have an open ended discussion, so that you know what is the name that you want. Also have an open eye for the people listening because people craving for roles in the films will pick the ideas and sell it somewhere else for a role in the movie. Directors might not be aware of this, because of their busy schedule.
As you told that you are not in need of money, as most of them claim, it is undoubted fact that it is the motivating factor for writers/artists, and once film is made most of the writers crib that they were not paid enough for the movie.
If you are looking for fame, the best thing is what we called as concealed writing. Attend all the script discussions, be a good listener, take down all the points that were mentioned by the director and the production manager. Arrange the scenes and add some good dialogues and format the story in the form of a script. Dont diffuse too much of creativity, just hold on to the ideas that people are portraying and judge them as good or bad. It might sound difficult and selfish at times, but it gives you a long standing in the future.

Avakai Biryani - in 15 minutes
From the COFM brand, Anish made his pet project Avakai Biryani.. which is supposed to be a feel good film like that of other shekharji's projects. Here are my honest opinions after watching the movie in terms of script writing and other aspects. Though i consider him as a mentor for taking the screen writing and script writing as passion, i as a small and normal audience write my views on Avakai Biryani.
- Half of the story is told, when the titles are completed
- In first 15 minutes, after characters are introduced you come to know what is the ending.
- Connecting scenes are more than the major scenes, which brings a feel of serial or episode you are watching on a stage or on some TV.
- second half does not link anything with the first half, unless we are nearing to the climax
- Comedy was natural, but the expressions were not so lively from the characters especially heroine..
- Stage 1 told almost everything about the movie, by which stage 2 and 3 though visually appealing, it was not gripping.
- Editing by Praveen, probably i expected more after watching COFM. He would have advised Anish because he is the right person, but he might be in a technical nostalgia seeing the color mixings and others.
Good thing about the script
The Stage 2 of the script was very well prepared, which is usually considered as the toughest part for script writing. (stage 2: just before the interval), it started early though. If this was continued for some more time, it probably would have appealed to a different set of audience.
Songs are very well placed, written, picturised and brought life into the movie.
What would have been better
The water episode, might be given some strength in the second half so that audience can connect to it.
Hotel episode is dragged a lot in the 2nd half, it would have been in the edited scenes, so that when there is nothing being told at the end of the scene, there is no need of prolonging that scene for so long.
Though i have seen the script being something more in size than the Eamcet Textbooks, Now i am like curious what was written in such a large book.
Anish and Team: Keep up the good work, and have the tempo, dont wait for box office to respond. Movie is a passion and not a mission for commercial success. Though we agree that it is required, but as you always say " I am what my mind is all about, rest all is fake" just believe in it.

Way the World looks at you
Yet an other new group different from what was there on the previous birthday, now in hyderabad. Ok, thought of how different perspectives can become when intentions are clear in these 4 years of journey with the company. Might these are some of the situations where many people come across with,
When I started at a small company, without knowing whether the return from UK is right or wrong, people in UK and around told I have done a wrong thing and looked at me like a fool.
After joining, there was murmering around some praising about what was done, and some just ignoring that i have gone back to square 1, and have to climb the ladder all along from the beginning.
After initial start up, i just put the words back of me and started to move on to see and face the difficulties. To be honest, i even tried at couple of places in the initial days with fake experience, cleared couple of rounds and thrown out in HR. It was disheartening but it was for my well being i guess. Never know how 4 years passed after joining.
When 2 years were completed, there were few of the interview calls which i have purely ignored, when few of my colleagues started moving out from the company and were cursing me to look out to grow. some how my instances were against it, but heart and body were tempting to apply for a job.
I dont know when the last 2 years passed by, and i was like busy looking at the files and code files. Some how, due to the growth and the praise of god, i was promoted and there were few hurdles as will be there with every company, in the growth.
When talking to people, and say a small company name it looks derogatory at tongue, but at the same time the feeling of oneness and the approach towards getting big, helps to see at an aerial view. People move in and out, asking and running to acheive something, but the feeling of seeing yourself standing in front of the mirror, and see what has been acheived and what is left out, is really something to cherish about....
These 4 years of training was a pragmatic bachelors degree in management of SBU's, Life will maintain these moments in its own diary of events.

Script Writer Interview Questions
Hi recently got a call from one of the production company, and here are the questions that they have asked me, thought to share this with the rest of the world, not to reveal whether they will call me again or not, i am writing in english though the person calling me asked in telugu, so that both telugu scriptwriters and others can as well understand
You write scripts, what is the difference between your writings and other script writers who write? (miru scripts rastharu kada.. vere writers ki miku unna teda enti?)
my scripts are what i call as collaborative scripts, i solve story problems and come out with a developed script for a given story
Dont you write your own ideas? (miru mi sontha alochanalatho script rayara?)
every writer wants to write with his own ideas and creativity, but feeling his own ideas are great and everybody have to accept them doesnt work in the team. Experienced people say so many things, and the people who put money are the real creators. So the person who invests his money is greater than a person who invests his heart and soul. so though i write my own ideas, its upto the producers to decide whether they want it or change it, I mould myself accordingly.
how do you start writing a script? (miru script rayatam ela start chestharu?)
Like painting, every script starts with a sketch or outline, i fix my characters first and their nature. Then embed the character ideas to develop a story line, which eventually moulds into a script.
what is the script that you liked the most (miku baga ishtamaina script edi?)
Bhagawatham (epic from indian mythology)
why do you like it (enduku ishtam adi ante)
you might not have read it like a movie script, if you would then you can understand the strength that was given to each character
Did you have any scripts ready? (mi deggara emaina scripts ready ga vunnaya?)
yea i do have 4 scripts with me in an initial draft, which would be enough for giving a sales pitch
i would complete if some production company comes forward to publicise them
are the scripts original ?( rasina scripts original ee na)
yea i can say them as original
did you work with any other company for writing scripts? (mundu ekkadaina pani chesara?)
no i have not, i am a fresher for script writing and screen writing
Did you had any training on script writing?(training emaina thisukunnara?)
i attended a workshop training conducted by hollywood script writers institute in west hollywood, CA
do you have a qualification in telugu literature? (telugu literature lo emaina qualification vunda?)
no, i am from english medium and hindi is my second language, but telugu is my mother tongue. ?I have not taken any training on this.
What are you looking for as a salary in order to write the scripts? (amount entha kavali script rayataniki?)
i dont know, I write it as a passion and also as a hobby. I do write poems(paatalu), i dont know what is being offered in the industry. I am looking forward to know the prices
after this he told he will let me know again....so these are some of my answers and questions by the HR, hahaaa for script writing... Geeee...... adi story... these are the interview questions, so any body going for an interview for script writing or screen writing, make sure you prepare answers on your own for the questions...

Sample Scripts
Hi,
Thanks Sudheer for taking time in writing back, Thought of replying back, but this can be used by other people as well, so made a posting on this. Here are few of the sample scripts, that can be viewed and downloaded, you can find lots of them on scriptcrawler.net, simplyscripts, IMDB, script-o-rama.
Here are the samples that usually i refer to,
Sample for a Production Script
http://www.leegoldberg.com/pdfs/insomnia.pdf
Samples for Initial Drafts
http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/alien_early.html
http://www.scifiscripts.com/scripts/alienresurrection_early.txt
Samples for Shooting scripts
http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/ace_ventura_shoot.html
http://www.weeklyscript.com/Affliction.txt
Sample for writing Screenplay
http://www.scifiscripts.com/scripts/2001.txt
http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/Absolute_Power.PDF
http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/25thhour_all.pdf
The camera movement is described in screenwriting, while script goes forward with the characters and story. Bollywood and tollywood are yet to come up with this sort of formats, we rarely find any original script and idea, we do not preserve or encourage the literature as english people do, that is the only tragic thing with Indian cinema. ok Thanks we will change it... its not a complaint but an oppurtunity...
Telugu scripts if you have any links, or the place where we can find already released scripts, please post the links here so that we can have a repository of the great writings from great writers. We remember heros but not the writers....Let us change.

ICICI cannot go bankrupt
ICICI bank with so many salary accounts from different software companies, can never go bankruptcy. Rumors floated around today saying the bank has lost its money 375 crores in Lehman brothers, which is 100% true, but it cannot be closing down. I prefer buying the ICICI stocks now, due to their low cost. Reliance, Infy, Satyam will save the bank undoubtedly.
INDIA is individually rich when compared to US or Europe. So never mind and take rest
Though i am not any employee of ICICI bank, it is worth to diversify the fund rather than getting panic at such rumours.
